	The Greenhill Hotel is a beautiful red sandstone Georgian mansion built in 1804 as a private residence and is set in nine acres of parkland. It offers a private and peaceful setting for a few days relaxation "away from it all" or perhaps a business meeting. We offer 12 comfortable contemporary B&B guest rooms, all en-suite, with colour televisions, direct dial telephones and tea/coffee making facilities. Our rooms are available on a bed and breakfast (B&B) basis although it is possible to have Table d'Hote Dinner in our restaurant. The Snooty Fox (Uldale)
	The Snooty Fox at Uldale is a traditional Lakeland Inn serving local real ales, good food and comfortable guest B&B accommodation. Dating back to the early 1600's, this former coaching inn is a very special place to spend some time. Johnby Hall (Nr. Greystoke)
	Henry and Anna Howard and their young family are delighted to welcome you to Johnby Hall, a beautifully located family home just on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Originally a 14th century pele tower, fortified against Scots raiders, the main building is an Elizabethan manor house, which has belonged to the Howard family since 1783. There are two delightful and supremely comfortable B&B suites, and guests eat breakfast in the stunning surroundings of the 16 th -century Great Hall. Guests are welcome to explore several acres of informal gardens and woodland walks which surround the hall. There is a fantastic display of snowdrops (Feb-Mar) and native wild daffodils (Mar-Apr); a small flock of geese and bantams graze in the paddocks. The house lies at the heart of a traditional sheepfarming and dairy estate, and the garden is a haven of tranquillity amidst farmland and woods, with an abundance of wildlife to be seen, often including red squirrels, deer, hares, bats, buzzards, ravens, curlews, swallows, martens, woodpeckers and numerous garden birds.

Woodlands Country House (Ireby)
	Imagine yourself at Woodlands, far away from the crowds, the noise and the bustle…. Drive up to the warm old Victorian house, pull the old-fashioned door bell and feel your shoulders relax as you are welcomed in. Put your feet up in the comfortable lounge in front of the open fire and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with home-made cake or wash away the dust of your journey with a glass of local ale in the bar. Picture Ireby, a traditional farming village nestling amongst the hills on the northern edge of the Lake District National Park. Step back in time and enjoy a totally unspoilt area of Cumbria where the rush hour traffic consists of the cows on their way to be milked or a flock of sheep being driven along the lanes. Our seven bedrooms are all en-suite and are comfortably and tastefully furnished, many with period furnishings in keeping with the Victorian house. We believe that high quality mattresses, bed linen and fluffy towels are essential for your comfort. Hospitality trays include home-made shortbread or biscuits, a range of teas, fresh coffee and mineral water. All rooms have remote control colour TV and hairdryers. The Briars
	The Briars is a comfortable, Bed and Breakfast Guest House, ideally located close to the centre of Caldbeck village itself, with views towards St Kentigern's Church, Cald Beck and the Northern Fells in the distance. Daffodil Banks (Hesket Newmarket )
	Daffodil is a one bedroomed luxury 5 star bed and breakfast B&B appartment; and lies outside the small, picturesque village of Hesket Newmarket in the Mungrisdale valley of the Northern Fells. It offers a luxurious bedroom, with super king size bed and DVD/TV with iPOD docking, bathroom with large walk-in shower and breakfast room. The private breakfast room allows guests complete privacy. Hawksdale Lodge was built circa 1840, is a beautiful family home and offers splendid bed & breakfast accommodation close to the edge of the Northern Fells of the Lake District.

Boltongate Old Rectory

The setting of the Old Rectory at Boltongate, amid peaceful country side with the fells and mountains beyond, could hardly be more beautiful. Many of its rooms face southward and have superb views.
The house dates from around 1360 with later additions in the seventeenth century and in Victorian times. In summer the sun streams in through the large windows and guests can roam in the idyllic grounds with its ponds and arbours while, during the cooler months, great log fires burn in the study and dining room.

Rose Castle Farm

Rose Castle Farm offers a wonderful setting for a relaxing B&B break in beautiful countryside in a Grade 2 listed farmhouse. We are within the grounds of Rose Castle, the home of the Bishop of Carlisle since the 13th century and only 4 miles from the Lake District National Park.
We are on the Cumbrian Way, near many lovely local walks, and by the river Caldew (fishing permits are available). We'll pick walkers from Caldbeck and return them the next day if required.
We welcome families and offer 'second to none' traditional farmhouse food cooked on an Aga. We use local produce wherever possible. Sausages, bacon and black pudding all come from the local butcher in Dalston and reared on his farm in Caldbeck and cooked on our traditional Aga. Delicious!
We offer 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room. One of the double rooms can be easily converted to a family room. There is a shared bathroom with bath and shower. We provide fresh towels and bathrobes. Each bedroom has a TV, clock radio and tea-making facilities.

We're also ideal for Cyclists as we're situated close from the C2C cycle route and can offer stabling for horse riders. There is a tennis court nearby and swimming pools within 20 mins by car.

High Houses

High Houses is a special and unusual place to stay. Brimming with ambience created by the history, architecture, situation and original features. Built in 1669 , this Cumbrian farmhouse is perched aloft a hillside in the Northern Fells, not far from the villages of Ireby, Uldale and Caldbeck, and only 5 miles from Bassenthwaite Lake.
Lovingly restored over several years, there are now 3 bedrooms, 1 en-suite bathroom and 1 shower room, sitting room, Inglenook room and kitchen, all retaining many of their original features. Stone slab floors, timber beams and open fires are all part of the High Houses experience.
The farmhouse is a wonderful warren of a home where rooms run off long corridors.
The views towards Scotland are quite breathtaking, with the house being in the middle of a 400 acre farm, surrounded by fell and farmland and is in the heart of John Peel Hunting Country. Excellent walking is available right on your doorstep in this beautiful part of the northern Lake District.
High Houses is now a family home with the main building available for Bed & Breakfast (B&B) or Self-Catering for up to 6 adults and 2 children. The owner lives next door in an adjoining wing. She is a professional cook, specialising in game, wild food (home-made jams, bread, hens hatched on the farm, free range eggs and home grown vegetables).

	Nestling in the foothills of the Caldbeck Fells amidst totally unspoilt scenery lie three beautifully crafted cottages converted from a former Hill Farm. Welcome to High Greenrigg House - a carefully restored, Grade II Listed, 17th century farmhouse. Overlooking High Pike and Brae Fell, the property is set in a totally detached countryside location, elevated amongst the North Lakeland Fells. 	Thistlebottom Farm Self-Catering Holiday Cottage is situated on Caldbeck Common with spectacular fell views. This delightful stone holiday cottage was converted from the farm byre at Thistlebottom Farm and adjoins the owner's farmhouse. Our two holiday cottages are fully furnished and decorated in a manner that suits the property. Woodlands Cottage is a stable conversion of the main house and is in a beautiful position to take in all the delights that Cumbria and the Scottish Borders can offer.
The accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, a large dining/living room with a wood burning stove, a double bedroom, bathroom and a further bedroom with full sized bunks or single bed. It is ideal for a family, or for two or three persons. The principle form of heating is night storage and the electricity is included.

Riverside Tourer Park

Primarily, the site is a Caravan Club CL. Our one acre lawned site is just out of the Hamlet of Millhouse. The Dominating River Caldew and its tributary beck (Gillcambon), are completely open and accessible to the site, and form over half of the perimeter. Although the CL is only a 5 van site, we have 10 well spaced pitches in total, all with electric hook-ups, providing our clients the choice of hard standing (5) or well drained grass (5) which allows plenty of rotation, with very little pitch-wear. Mains water, waste and chemical disposal, W.C. and FREE shower are all laid on, to a high standard. Discreet dusk to dawn lighting is provided over the site, and we have a dedicated (flood lit) river edge dog walk.
The Millrace Park
Due to ever increasing popularity of the CL, we obtained planning permission in 2003 to provide extra pitches. Unwilling to alter the CL in any way which may endanger its character, we have developed our adjoining land in almost mirror image of the existing, with 6 pitches, (4 hard standing and 2 grass) all with electric hook-ups, with separate W.C. and FREE shower, plus all of the above mentioned amenities. Again, we have opened up the stretch of river bordering this land to provide complete access to site users.

We are ideally situated for exploring Carrock Fell, High Pike and the Northern Fells of the Lake District. We are also close to the C2C cycle route.
