Built in 1896 of traditional lakeland slate Amble House occupies a quiet position in the busy market town of Keswick near Lake Derwentwater. We are only a few minutes walk to the town centre.
We are proud to offer you non smoking accommodation of a high standard with cleanliness and comfort our priority. Our well appointed bedrooms are centrally heated and have remote controlled colour televisions, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and hospitality trays.
Hearty traditional and vegetarian breakfasts are served and are the perfect way to start your day. Substantial packed lunches are also available. Drying facilities are available for wet outer clothing and footwear.

William and Ann, your resident hosts at Avondale Guest House, offer a warm and friendly welcome to all their guests both old and new. Situated in Keswick in the heart of the English Lake District, we are close to all amenities and are less than five minutes level walking from the town centre or the parks whilst Derwentwater and the Theatre By The Lake are just a pleasant ten minute stroll away.

Braemar is pleasantly situated in a quiet, but convenient area of the town. Just a few minutes walk from the town centre, the lake and all amenities. You can be assured of a high standard of cleanliness, decoration and comfort.
Our accommodation comprises of three double rooms, two single rooms and one twin room, all with ensuite facilities. All rooms are centrally heated, have colour TV’s, tea / coffee making facilities and radio alarm clocks. There is also a hair dryer and iron / ironing board for guest use.
For the comfort of all our guest’s we are strictly for non –smokers, and do not allow any pets.

Central but quiet, Cumbria House is a family run guest house close to Keswick town centre, a short walk to the shores of Derwentwater and with easy access to the fells.
With single, twin, double and family rooms we offer very flexible accommodation. We may only have 8 rooms but can fit 12 bodies into individual beds, more with friendly twosomes.
Individuals, families, groups and dogs (with well-behaved owners) are all welcome.
Not all rooms have en suite facilities, but all have views of the fells (and the standard rooms have the double bonus of the best views and bath robes to cover your modesty in public areas!

A warm welcome awaits you at Ullathorns, a working sheep and beef farm situated in the quiet, unspoilt Lune Valley. It is midway between the market towns of Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale, both 5 miles away. The farm is situated below Middleton Fell, three quarters of a mile from the main road. The farmhouse is dated 1617 and 'Ullathorn' is a viking name for a place where wolves lie. Refreshments are served upon arrival.
Ullathorns is an ideal touring base being close to the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, and the Trough of Bowland, all having beautiful scenery and many visitor attractions. England’s largest show cave at Ingleton is only 10 miles away.
Rooms available are one double en-suite and one family/twin/double en-suite room. Both rooms are spacious with color televisions and tea/coffee making facilities.
A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room, which has individual tables. This room is also the visitors lounge, and is warmed, when required by a log burner. There is also a patio area for use by visitors.
Children and well-behaved pets are welcome.

Kemps Hill is situated just outside the beautiful and peaceful village of Barbon, near Kirkby Lonsdale.
It is ideal for walking the many footpaths and bridleways over Barbon Fell and Dentdale and visiting the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
The nearby river Lune is well stocked with fine salmon, and there is golf at Kirkby Lonsdale's 18 hole championship course only half a mile away.

Situated between the Lakes and the Dales, Kirkby Lonsdale has access to some of the loveliest scenic landscapes in the country. The River Lune is splendid for swimming, fishing or simply taking walks.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation is in the delightful ground floor garden room. The room has a TV, radio, fridge, tea + coffee making facilities and an ensuite shower room. The views from this B & B room are superb as it overlooks the Howgills and Casterton fells.

The bed and breakfast accommodation comprises two double-bedded rooms, both with en-suite shower room and balcony, and a twin-bedded room with en-suite bathroom. All are centrally heated, spacious and comfortable, with colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and individually furnished to compliment the style of the farmhouse.
The sitting room opens on to a walled terrace, which provides a quiet spot for afternoon tea or watching the sunset over Hutton Roof Crags.
Breakfast is special at Pickle: a health conscious alternative for those looking for a fresh approach to the traditional English breakfast.
Make your choice from the breakfast buffet where you will find juices, fresh and dried fruits, home-made muesli and granola, followed by a variety of cooked foods including our own vegetarian specialities and home-made breads and preserves. If you have a special requirement we will try to provide it for you.

High Green Farm is a 350 acre beef and sheep farm situated in the Lune valley midway between the market towns of Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh. The farm enjoys an idyllic, rural setting and is an ideal location for those wanting to escape from the pressures of life and enjoy a rural experience away from crowds, pollution and busy roads, yet only 10 minutes from the M6 motorway. This family farm is set in open countryside, surrounded by wonderful views and lovely walks. A large, well maintained garden with its own natural stream is accessible to guests. The 18th century farmhouse is tastefully modernised retaining the original oak beams and offering comfortable, well appointed accommodation.
Our ground floor double room with en suite facilities has been recently refurbished and is decorated to a high standard. From the window seat guests can relax and enjoy lovely views of the fields and animals grazing.
The room is equipped with colour television, hairdryer and hospitality tray.
The double room with en suite facilities is a bright room with the original oak beams, is sensitively decorated in pastel tones and has been tastefully furnished for the comfort of guests. A hairdryer, colour television and hospitality tray are provided.
Guests can gaze out over the fields in our dining room/lounge as they tuck into their hearty cooked breakfast. The old oak beams are a feature of this room and a log fire for when the days are colder.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the peacefulness of the cottage style garden and to relax with a drink on the paved patio area.

Situated in the pleasant fishing port of Maryport, Shore Walk offers bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of the Western Lake District.
We are only 15 minutes drive from the market town of Cockermouth and ideally situated for exploring the Western Lakes of Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere, Ennerdale and Wastwater.
There are daily buses and trains to service all your local transport needs.
Shore Walk has two en-suite bedrooms, both with views over the Solway Firth towards the Scottish hills.
The twin room has en-suite corner bath with shower, and the double room has an en-suite shower room. Both rooms have a hair dryer, alarm clock, radio, TV and hospitality tray.
We have off road parking for one vehicle per room.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7.30am to 9am.
Your breakfast will be cooked to order and you may choose from a selection at the breakfast bar, including; cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit or orange juice, followed by either:
Full English Breakfast: Cumberland Sausage, bacon, egg, hash browns, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Vegetarian Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Continental Breakfast: Soft rolls and a selection of cheese and jams.
All followed by tea or coffee with toast and marmalade.
If guests would like an early departure we are happy to leave a breakfast tray in their room the night before.
