Eskdale House
Eskdale House

Eskdale House is a large Victorian house that was built around 1850. The house has an interesting history and at one time was a boarding house for Calder Girls School.
The front of the house overlooks the Irish sea, to the side and rear are views of the well known Seascale Golf course and the Western Lake District fells beyond.
This is ideal for cyclists, walkers and muscians who require no frills and a friendly, relaxed homely atmosphere.
Breakfast is usually on a "help your self" basis and includes a selection of cereals, toast, homemade bread, eggs, fruit juice and tea or coffee.
You will have use of the guest sitting room in the evening with Sky TV and free broadband wireless internet access.
Our house is right next to Hadrians Wall cycle way route, and the start of the C2C is just along the coast at St Bees.
We have safe and secure storage for your bikes in our garage.
After a day out relax in the impressive house bathroom with a fantastic shower. There is also a separate toilet/washroom.
There are many local take aways and nearby pubs/restuarants where you can eat in the evening.
Eskdale House is an ideal place to stay for a night or two if you are passing through or planning to do some rides in the area.

Built in 1872 as the vicarage for Cautley Church and now a Listed Building, the house enjoys a magnificent setting. Simply enjoy the slow pace and atmosphere of our beautiful unspoilt countryside with its fells, streams, wildlife and flowers which surround Saint Mark's.
Situated in the dale of Cautley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the views overlook the River Rawthey and the imposing Eastern flank of the Howgill Fells.
We offer 5 bedrooms in total, 3 twin, 1 family and 1 single. All the bedrooms benefit from private baths or showers, tea/coffee and colour televisions. The dining room at Saint Mark's is also an ideal venue for conferences, seminars, training events and family reunions. Li'Le Hullets Bed and Breakfast is a 400 year old former Westmorland farm house in Staveley in the Lake District. It has been completely restored and refurbished to offer a very high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation throughout. The refurbishment has retained all the original features, including:
• a traditional oak beamed lounge
• the original oak staircases
• an oak court cupboard as it was known, dated 1683
• a unique spice cupboard
• a recently discovered bread oven in the lounge

Ramblers Cottage
Ramblers Cottage, Staveley

A cottage B&B in the scenic village of Staveley, 3 miles south of Windermere. Ground floor rooms with en-suite facilities. Ideally placed for Walking and Mountain Biking. 5 minutes off the Dalesway.
We are a cottage with 2 ground floor letting rooms, both with private facilities, built on the site of a former Chapel. The house has recently been renovated.
The large family room has cottage decor and pine furniture with a double and single bed, so can be used as multi purpose for either Double, Twin or Family. A Folding Bed is available for an extra child. The room has TV/Video and an en-suite shower room with double sized shower cubicle. Coffee making facilities and hairdryer are provided.
The double room is decorated in soft colours and comfy bed with squashy cushions. This room has a tv/video, coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The separate shower room is one step across the corridor and is reserved for the sole use of occupants of this room. Complimentary shower robes are provided.
The dining room is situated upstairs with old beams and pine clad ceiling, with wonderful views of the surrounding hills.
Plentiful home cooked food. Vegetarian and special diets catered for if booked in advance.
Packed lunch service is provided to order.
Breakfast can be served in bedrooms on request.
There is a drying Room with tumble dryer and facilities for drying wet outdoor gear provided free of charge, and a secure garage for storage of bikes.
Books and videos are provided free for use of guests.
Children welcome, but the house is unsuitable for toddlers and children under 3 years old.
Dogs are accepted in the large room if booked in advance.
We are a Biker friendly house and encourage bikers, cyclists and walkers to use our establishment and facilities.
Bikes and cycles can be stored in the integral garage.
