Graysonside Guest House
Graysonside Guest House Graysonside is a former farmhouse providing Bed and Breakfast, a small Caravan and Camping Site overlooking the Lorton Valley fells and Self Catering Accommodation in a recently converted stone barn.
We are situated at the North end of the Lake Distict National Park approx 1 mile South of Cockermouth which is an ideal centre for walking, touring and cycling the northern and western areas of this beautiful part of the country.
The house is within the Lake Distict National Park and is set in 32 acres. Meadow and woodland walks have been created through areas of de-cultivated land, which has been allowed to regenerate naturally to re-establish wildlife. Regular visitors include a Barn Owl, Red Squirrel, Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Heron.
Accommodation in the Farmhouse consists of a Four poster En-suite room and Twin En-suite room.
Accommodation in the recently converted adjoining barn comprises of 3 Double En-suite rooms.
All rooms are spacious, centrally heated and have Tea and Coffee making facilities, a Colour Television, hair dryer and shaver point.
Graysonside has 4 twin/double en-suite rooms which are ground floor.
All rooms come with wireless internet available at no extra cost.

Manor House
Rose Cottage Guest House, Cockermouth The Manor House is a gentleman Farmer's house dating from the early 18th Century, set in 8 acres of it's own land in the village of Oughterside on the North Western Edge of the Lake District, and only 5 miles from Cockermouth.

Damson Ghyll
Damson Ghyll Damson Ghyll is situated at Latterhead near Loweswater in the Vale of Lorton in the secluded north west part of the Lake District National Park and is an ideal base for walking, cycling and touring. The towns of Cockermouth and Keswick are nearby.
There are 3 lakes within easy reach of Latterhead – Loweswater itself, Crummock Water with its backdrop of Melbreak, and Buttermere surrounded by its own set of fells – Red Pike, High Stile, Haystacks and Fleetwith Pike.
For cyclists, the Coast to Coast (C2C) route passes the front gate.
The accommodation has been inspected by the AIA and achieved a “commended” grading.
It comprises:
A double bedroom with en-suite shower/steam room,
Radio and CD player,
TV equipped with Sky Freesat,
Tea and fresh coffee making facilities,
Ironing and drying facilities (available upon request).
The room also comes with its own unique view of Whiteside to greet you on most mornings and, if you are lucky, one or two Red Squirrels feeding in the trees.
Breakfast is prepared using only the best local produce. Choose from a selection of fresh seasonal fruits, cereals and juices, followed by a variety of cooked dishes from traditional full English breakfast with bacon and sausages from Cumbria, served with coffee/tea, and toast with home-made jams & marmalades.

Bluebird Lodge
Bluebird Lodge The Bluebird Lodge Guest House is in a quiet corner of the English Lakes and offers comfortable rooms, a warm welcome and some of the best views in the area, an ideal location for fell walkers, dog owners and cyclists.
