Oak Apple Barn is part of a former lakeland farm and is situated alongside a quiet country lane between the pretty village of Hawkshead and the famous beauty spot Tarn Hows. It is within easy walking distance of the village which is about half a mile away. Oak Apple Barn has been carefully renovated to a very high standard and retains many of the old and interesting features, particularly the mellow pine and old oak beams.
The comfortable lounge has an old stone fireplace, multi fuel stove, a settee, easy chairs and colour television. The lounge area has southerly views over open countryside towards Hawkshead village.
There is ample car parking space in the large farmyard.

Ann Tysons House (Main Cottage)
Ann Tysons House main cottage , Hawkshead. The first holiday cottage is "Ann Tyson's Main Cottage", a grade 2* listed Lake District self catering holiday cottage, early home of the poet, William Wordsworth, who lodged at the cottage between 1779 and 1787.
The accommodation in "The Main Cottage" consists of 2 double bedrooms both with hand basins and an extra single bed on a large landing. This will accommodate 4 / 5 people in all. There is a ground floor bathroom, for easy access, with bath and electric shower, toilet and hand basin.
There are Oak beams and an open brick fireplace, coal provided, and oil fired central heating. The Lounge has a colour T.V and a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge freezer. There is parking on the front of the holiday cottage for one vehicle.

Ann Tysons House main cottage , Hawkshead. The second self catering holiday cottage is "Ann Tyson's Top Cottage", smaller accommodation, it has 2 bedrooms, one twin and one double,sleeping up to 4 people, ideally two adults, two children.
There is a lounge with colour TV, open fire (coal provided) and oil-fired central heating. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin. There is a small kitchenette with an electric cooker, fridge freezer and microwave and a small dining area. The cottage also has a private garden and private parking space for one vehicle.

The farmhouse accommodation comprises of 4 apartments sleeping from 2 to 6. Each apartment is comfortably furnished and fully equipped.
The cottage and apartments at Kiln How are situated just 6 miles from Keswick in one of the most beautiful locations in the English Lake District; many of our guests visit us several times a year to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Borrowdale valley.
Our private car parking ensures safekeeping of vehicles and many guests use their cars but rarely during their stay in Borrowdale. With walks of all distances and levels available from the doorstep driving becomes entirely optional. Within the Borrowdale village of Rosthwaite and a mere stone's throw from Kiln How there is a small general store and a good local pub.

The award winning architects have given an added dimension by including an extra large picture window to appreciate the magnificent views of the beautiful rolling countryside.
Clover Cottage has one double bedroom and one twin room with 2 bathrooms - one being a walk in wet room with private patio (one bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor). leather sofas, solid wood furniture, ash floor and luxury carpets.
High View Meadows has one double bedroom and two twin rooms and has 2 bathrooms, with a private 20ft balcony, underfloor heating, gas fire, remote control blinds and Velux windows, leather suites and solid oak furniture.

Situated between the Lakes and the Dales, Kirkby Lonsdale has access to some of the loveliest scenic landscapes in the country. The River Lune is splendid for swimming, fishing or simply taking walks.
This lovely spacious first floor apartment overlooks the River Lune. It has an entrance/dining hall, large sitting room with gas fire, TV and radio. Kitchen with gas cooker, washing machine, microwave and fridge. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Bathroom with electric shower over bath. Gas central heating. The apartment is approached by a spiral staircase, which is not suitable for the elderly or very young.

The self-catering cottage with private entrance adjoins the main farmhouse and has been carefully converted from a milking parlour and hayloft above.
It is well maintained and provides spacious character accommodation with modern comfort.
Spectacular views of fells and open countryside can be seen from many windows; the cottage is ideally positioned to provide a quiet holiday break.
Downstairs is a large open-plan area. It is furnished with comfortable chairs and has colour television and video. There are French doors opening onto a furnished sun terrace.
The dining kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dining table and chairs.
A spiral staircase leads to the bedroom and bathroom. Two quality zip-together beds can be used either as super king or twin beds. The bathroom has a bath with powerful shower, washbasin and w.c.
Price includes central heating, electricity, bed linen, duvets and towels. Guests are requested not to smoke in the cottage.

We can offer you a holiday or short break in beautifully appointed self-catering accommodation.
Stabling, grazing and bike storage is also available. The Lune Valley is the perfect place to come and unwind. Enjoy the surrounding area with its splendid footpaths, golf courses, cycle ways, bridal ways, fishing and local attractions. Situated 3 miles north of Kirby Lonsdale it is handy enough to nip down for a pint or an evening meal in one of the many inns and restaurants in this pretty market town.

Fleshbeck Cottage Fleshbeck Cottage is a pretty country cottage with exposed beams and has a lounge with an old black range fire.
It comprises:

Fleshbeck Cottage was build in 1717 and is part of the large farmhouse that served the farm. The dining room is traditionally furnished as is the lounge with its cast iron range. It is heated by storage heaters, immersion heater and fire. There is terrestrial TV, sizeable garden and ample parking.
Old Stables The Old Stables is a newly coverted barn retaining many of the original features yet offering every modern comfort.
A Large lounge with log fire and bacony, kitchen with dishwasher etc., one double and two twin bedrooms, en-suite and bathroom, washer/dryer, garden and parking.
The "Old Stable" was built in 1746 and has been newly converted from a traditional farm building that housed 3 working horses together with a barn, loose box and granary. It now has 3 ground floor bedrooms:- 1 twin with en-suite, 1 double and 1 twin with bathroom between. On the upper floor there is a large dining area / lounge with open fire, oak beams and furniture.
The oak kitchen is fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc. There are washing and drying facilities and the whole building has under floor central heating. Sky TV is provided as is linen and towels. There is ample parking and a garden.
The Granary The Granary was converted from the traditional granary that served the farm. It comprises on the ground floor:

Shower & toilet and a spiral staircase that leads to a spacious living room.
