A self catering holiday cottage nestled at the head of a peaceful valley with views of fells and forest. The cottage dates back to the 17th Century and retains many of it's original lakeland features, yet provides a warm comfortable ambience in which to relax. Old Barn Cottage is set in the private courtyard of our charming Cumbrian farmhouse. An ideal holiday retreat for couples and families. Old Barn Cottage is centrally heated for all year round occupancy, offering ample living space, off road parking and a large mature garden with patio area, where you can enjoy dining al fresco or just taking in the fresh countryside air and views. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, electric cooker (plus gas hob) fridge freezer, dishwasher and a family oak dinning table. There is also a utility/drying room available with washer tumble dryer, ironing facilities and sink. There is a large, comfortable lounge with television, games, maps and books with a patio door leading to the garden. Upstairs, bedroom 1 has a King sized bed and bedroom 2 has a double bed plus bunk beds. The bathroom is fully tiled with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. Non-smoking establishment. |

Dairy Cottage is a detached traditional Lakeland cottage set in the grounds of Low Graythwaite Hall Bed and Breakfast. To the front, the cottage has lovely views overlooking the gardens and to the rear it looks out onto a working Lake District farm. Holiday makers have shared use of the lawned garden out front and dogs can be exercised in the woods next to the cottage. The cottage has central heating (night store heaters) and an open fire. All fuel is included in the rent. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the rent. The property consists of lounge/diner, kitchen/diner, 3 bedrooms ( 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single-4ft bed), bathroom -shower over bath. Facilities include:- colour TV, sky TV, video, DVD player, stereo/cd player, washer/dryer, fridge ( not freezer -just compartment in fridge), patio furniture, barbecue and a garage and parking for 2-3 cars. Travel cot and highchair available. Holiday makers have the use of the indoor swimming pool between 10.00am and 4.00pm and the stocked fishing lake. Both are 0.5 miles from the cottage. All of the house is non smoking. |

A luxurious Woodland Cottage, situated within its own private garden and parking area is available to rent throughout the year. The imaginatively planned accommodation and the luxury of the furniture and fittings should delight the true cottage lover. Being only a short distance from Lake Windermere it forms an ideal base for enjoyable holidays in Cumbria. The cottage consistently receives a high grading from the English Tourism Council in the annual independent inspections. The accommodation, all on one level, consists of an open plan living area with exposed beams and Lakeland stone fireplace, fitted kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) each with its own en-suite shower room. A patio door leads from the lounge to a private garden area. Double glazing, fitted carpets, storage heaters and gas fire, all contribute to the warm and cosy atmosphere of the cottage. |

Cragside, created by the sympathetic conversion of a former barn, accommodates up to seven persons. It is located adjacent to Greenah Crag farm house. Sleeping accommodation is all on the ground floor, and comprises two double-bedded rooms and one twin-bedded room. There is also a small box room with single bed suitable for a younger ( or shorter!) person. Open roof beams and part exposed stonework add character to the spacious (approx llm x 5m) living room and kitchen area on the first floor. Equipment includes electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezing compartment, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and colour TV. The cottage has full oil-fired central heating and fitted carpets throughout. Outside is a south facing paved patio area; garden chairs and charcoal barbecue grill are available if required. Please note that we do not allow smoking or pets within the cottage. |

Coach House Mews In the 19th Century Listed stable block on Patterdale Hall Estate, we have made three roomy, comfortable holiday properties. Two of the Coach Houses are on the first floor, above what was once the coach-houses and tack-room; the third, which has good wheelchair access without steps, is on the ground floor. Because of the situation of the stable block (which is built on a sloping bank) all three Coach Houses give splendid views of the wooded gardens of the Estate, and the hills which form its background. The Coach Houses have been furnished to a high standard of comfort. Pets allowed, by arrangement, in Bannerdale and Martindale. Parking is available close by.
