A pair of self-contained cottages, converted from the original Moresby Hall farmhouse. Both are situated at the rear of Moresby Hall, in the oldest part of the property, thus retaining many original character features and dating from 1250 approx.
We take great pleasure in welcoming our guests, and maintain the properties personally to a high standard. Our properties are suitable for couples, families & friends, and colleagues on business, sporting or group activity interests. We do not accommodate Hen / Stag parties.
Brighida Cottage
Brighida Cottage sleeps up to 6 persons with 1 double room (en-suite shower, basin & toilet) and two further twin rooms*. There is an additional bathroom (bath, basin & toilet) dining kitchen and cosy lounge with a quality 3 piece suite.
Rosmerta Cottage
Rosmerta Cottage sleeps up to 4 persons with 1 double and 1 twin room*. We do not recommend Rosmerta for anyone who may not manage to ascend the (short) ancient spiral stone staircase. There is a bathroom (bath, over bath shower, basin & toilet) large dining kitchen and cosy lounge with beams, traditional furniture and quality 3 piece suite. Rosmerta can also accommodate up to 6 guests by utilising a twin en-suite room in Moresby Hall with the inter-connecting door – price then charged as 3 bedroom Brighida cottage.
Each cottage can be modified to offer an extra double room if required.
Both properties are centrally heated, spacious and attractive with co-ordinating décor throughout.
Parking is within the large outer courtyard.
Babysitting available ~ charged extra.

Especially suitable for those requiring disabled facilities, with roll-in shower and shower wheelchair. Sitter service available from retired nurse/owner. Personal care by prior arrangement.
Situated on a small friendly working farm with wonderful views, 3 miles from Windermere.
Children welcome, sleeps 4 plus 1.

A luxury self catering accommodation in Windermere, the Lake District.
We are situated midway between the Lake District villages of Windermere and Bowness in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and Lake Windermere.
The apartments are located on the ground floor of our home "Winster House", being a split-level property. They are cosy and beautifully appointed with much thought having been given to your comfort and relaxation, each unit accommodating 2 persons.

The Heaning is a beautiful Victorian gentleman's residence set amongst 8 acres of gardens and fields just one mile from Windermere village in the beautiful English Lake District.
The Heaning overlooks the beautiful Kentmere valley with spectacular views towards the Howgill Fells.
The Heaning has two types of self catering accommodation, stable cottages two-berth cottages converted from a seventeenth century coach house and stables, retaining many of the original features with large open beams stretching the length of the building. The larger barn cottages sleep either 4 or 6 people and were recently converted from a traditional 19th century Lakeland bank farm.

Situated in one of the most exclusive areas of Windermere, it is set in its own extensive grounds, offering complete privacy and tranquility yet only minutes away from the town centre and the lake.
Special features are the large outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing area.
The beautiful landscaped gardens have grassy areas for children’s games and quiet corners for relaxing or having picnics. The apartments are furnished, equipped and decorated to a high standard.
There is ample car parking space. A rotary line is provided for clothes drying in the garden. High chairs and cots are available at extra cost.
We are a non smoking establishment and cannot accept pets.

Claremont Belair offers flexible superior holiday accommodation, with self catering for parties of all sizes from just 2 people up to groups of 30. Bed & breakfast for up to 11 people is also available, and special midweek B&B breaks are a popular feature.
Claremont Belair consists of three adjacent properties and is ideally situated in a quiet backwater just ten minutes stroll away from the town centre, Lake Windermere and the steamers.

This pretty Cottage is a delightful traditional 19th Century Lakeland stone two bedroomed terrace cottage set in a quiet residential area in an ideal location between Windermere and Bowness convenient for shops, amenities and many excellent restaurants.
The cottage sleeps 2-4 and welcomes non-smoking guests.
This centrally heated authentic cottage is full of character, immaculately decorated and arranged over three floors comprising: entrance porch; sitting room with real wood burning stove, colour TV, video/DVD player and selection of games, dining kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer; 2 bedrooms, full bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. There is a rear patio area overlooking Mill Beck and the cottage adjoins the well renowned village pub, The Brookside Inn!, enjoyed by both locals and holidaymakers. Ample on-street parking is available.
The front bedrooms has two single beds, double wardrobe and drawers for storage; the main bedroom overlooking the beck with two single wardrobes and a beautiful Cuban bed in antique pine, which has a luxury Winston Superior Sprung Mattress with Damask cover for extra support and comfort. The main bedroom also enjoys an en-suite wet room comprising shower, WC and washbasin.
The cottage is laid out over three floors and is therefore not suitable for the disabled.
