Situated in the pleasant fishing port of Maryport, Shore Walk offers bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of the Western Lake District.
We are only 15 minutes drive from the market town of Cockermouth and ideally situated for exploring the Western Lakes of Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere, Ennerdale and Wastwater.
There are daily buses and trains to service all your local transport needs.
Shore Walk has two en-suite bedrooms, both with views over the Solway Firth towards the Scottish hills.
The twin room has en-suite corner bath with shower, and the double room has an en-suite shower room. Both rooms have a hair dryer, alarm clock, radio, TV and hospitality tray.
We have off road parking for one vehicle per room.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7.30am to 9am.
Your breakfast will be cooked to order and you may choose from a selection at the breakfast bar, including; cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit or orange juice, followed by either:
Full English Breakfast: Cumberland Sausage, bacon, egg, hash browns, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Vegetarian Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Continental Breakfast: Soft rolls and a selection of cheese and jams.
All followed by tea or coffee with toast and marmalade.
If guests would like an early departure we are happy to leave a breakfast tray in their room the night before.

Meadow View Cottage

Meadow View Cottage is situated between Cockermouth and Maryport in a quiet peaceful hamlet, with beautiful views of the Western Fells of the Lake District, and views of the Solway Firth from the top of the hamlet looking towards Scotland. It is in walking distance of three pubs one of which has a great reputation for local beers and good food.
There are 2 bedrooms, all of which have central heating, T.V. and tea/coffee facilities.
A warm welcome awaits with a hearty breakfast.
This is an ideal base for the Lake District and Solway Firth.
We are open from March to October.
