Boots and Boards B&B |
|
![]() |
There's a warm welcome for all at 'Boots and Boards' - you don't have to be a climber or a kite-surfer! The little village of Silecroft makes a great base for whatever you want to do on your holiday. It retains many of its original features including the magnificent open fireplace in the guest sitting room. The house has been sensitively adapted for bed and breakfast using environmentally friendly materials wherever possible. Breakfast can be as big or small as you choose: local Cumberland sausage and all the trimmings, a vegetarian option, or just toast and Fair Trade marmalade. Accommodation at ‘Boots and Boards’ is practical and comfortable. There are two twin rooms, a double room and a family room (double bed and bunk beds). All have en-suite shower and toilet rooms, and there is a bathroom with a beautiful Victorian cast-iron slipper bath, which everyone can share (though not all at once!). All the bedrooms have TV, and a self-service tea and coffee tray. Guests also have their own breakfast room and sitting room, with a log fire in the winter.
