Under new ownership in 2008, the Golf Hotel in Silloth has undergone a major refurbishment in early 2009. The Golf hotel has now reopened and is going from strength to strength with the help of local business and the tourism trade. With growing function trade and traditional Sunday Carvery this hotel has everything to offer including breathtaking local walks and cycle tracks in and around the Solway coast re-nowned as a “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.
The Golf Hotel is situated on the main street in Silloth, a small coastal town in the North West of Cumbria on the edge of the beautiful Lake District. Also just a short swing away is the highly acclaimed 18 hole Championship link Golf Course named the Silloth-On-Solway Golf Club.
Silloth is noted for its invigorating but mild climate, its leisurely peaceful atmosphere and perhaps most of all, its glorious sea views and sunsets. Situated in close proximity of the Northern Lake District, the Roman Wall and the South West of Scotland visible on the opposite shore of the Solway Firth.
Our newly refurbished open plan lounge bar area is open to the public as well as our room guests. It is the perfect setting to meet up with friends and business colleagues to relax over lunch or an evening. We offer a warm & friendly atmosphere; our menu is freshly prepared using locally sourced produce and is finished to a high standard. We have a wide variety of food to offer and can cater for any special requirements.

The Queens Hotel - Bed and Breakfast in Silloth is a newly renovated Victorian home overlooking Silloth park which leads to the sea front, with an idyllic backdrop of the Scottish mountains.

In the morning you can indulge in a truly satisfying and substantial freshly cooked English Breakfast.
Our rooms are recently refurbished, with spacious en-suites. We have a good selection of rooms many with stunning views of the coast and beyond to Scotland. All rooms come with a bath and or shower, and of course an excellent choice for your breakfast including the traditional English breakfast. Rooms also have a TV and facilities to make your own hot drinks.

Croftlands Court Croftlands Court is a sympathetically converted former 17th Century coach house and stable block, situated at Seaville Farm only 4 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Silloth, on the unspoilt Solway coast, with its stunning views across the Solway Firth to the Scottish hills.
Converted from a former 17th Century coach house and stable block, our 4 apartments and 1 cottage retain features, such as open beamed ceilings, and original stonework.
All of the properties are tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard, and may be let singly or together for larger groups.
Golfer's can enjoy Cumbria's finest golf course at nearby Silloth, there are ample opportunities for sea fishing and the Solway marshes are extremely popular with bird watchers.
Seaville farm is a working farm, with a prize winning herd of pedigree Jersey cows.
We can arrange to show you our herd, and the calves are cute and curious.
We also have miniature goats, a flock hens, ducks, rabbits, Kerry our little white terrier, and a farm cat for our visitors to enjoy.
You can take a pleasant walk from the doorstep, enjoy a cycle ride on our quiet country lanes, or take advantage of the varied routes and attractions this location offers.
There is a farm bakery, where you can stock up on delicious homemade cakes and fresh farm eggs, or have a cup of tea or coffee with your choice of confectionary in our very pleasant "Cups and Saucers" tea room.
This is a very peaceful and relaxing base for visiting The Lake District, with it's magnificent scenery. and many other attractions.

Nook Farm
Two-bedroomed very comfortably furnished self-catering cottage with all facilities to sleep 5. Pretty garden, fine views, ample parking and situated only half a mile from the sea near the resort of Silloth. This is an ideal location for exploring the coastal areas of the Solway Firth with its wide variety of wild bird life, Hadrians Wall, the historical regional capital of Carlisle, and of course the mountains, fells and lakes of the National Park. Linen is provided and electricity is included in the charges. Children welcome, and, well behaved dogs. Open all year.
