Eden Lodge Hotel is a contemporary styled country house hotel situated in Ulverston at the southern tip of the beautiful English Lake district– within easy distance of Barrow in Furness and the Lake District attractions.
Located in its own mature parkland Eden Lodge overlooks the magnificent Morecambe Bay to the East and the picturesque Ulverston Golf Course to the South.
We offer our guests a range of therapies, including massage, Reiki, Reflexology, Metamorphic Technique and some of the latest developments in non-invasive cosmetic treatments.  All treatments are given by experienced therapists, and can be booked through us.
We are very confident that you will appreciate the pride we take in our bedrooms. With their stylish and uncluttered interior and very comfortable atmosphere, they would not be out of place in any modern, contemporarily styled upmarket city hotel. However, what gives our rooms that little bit extra are our en-suite facilities which feature some of the latest designs and - full body showers, which you won’t find in many luxury hotels. It goes without saying that all of our rooms have digital TV, hairdryers, and a courtesy tray with tea and coffee making facilities.
During the refurbishment of Eden Lodge we have paid particular attention to the needs of our disabled clients. Our restaurant is therefore easily accessible for our wheelchair bound customers. We have bathroom facilities specifically designed and catering for the needs of our disabled clients, and can also offer a bedroom with appropriate facilities – a claim not too many hotels can make. Also, parts of our gardens can be explored and enjoyed by wheelchair.  In the future we are aiming to make all our gardens accessible to wheelchair users.
Our restaurant takes classic cuisine and adds new twists, thus creating a sumptuous and exciting dining experience. Our ever changing seasonal menu will always use the freshest of produce sourced locally and be organic where possible.
And to round it off we have an extensive, hand selected list of fine wines, from which our staff will help you select the one to enhance and compliment your dining experience.

 The Stan Laurel Inn was opened in its present format in 1976 to a fanfare of publicity and stacks of local interest due to the pub bearing the name of Ulverston's best loved son and arguably the finest comedian of all time who lived only a few yards away in Argyle Street. During the last 30 years the pub has been extended into the cottages next door and also to the rear and now has three distinct rooms downstairs and also three rooms upstairs for bed and breakfast.
Our rooms have been refurbished and we are pleased to offer the following accommodation.
Laughing Gravy (Room 1) is a double with en-suite facilities. This room comprises a double bed, wardrobe, under bed storage, TV, tea /coffee making facilities and radio alarm clock.
Another Fine Mess(Room 2) is a treble room also with en-suite facilities. Again this room has built in wardrobe space, drawers, radio alarm clock, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Lonesome Pine (Room 3) is a single with its own separate private toilet and shower facilities located in the corridor. Again this room has TV, alarm clock/radio, tea/coffee making facilities and wardrobe space. Lonesome Pine along with Another Fine Mess makes an ideal space for a family of four.
We are able to provide laundry facilities (for a nominal fee) and an ironing board and iron.
We provide a full English breakfast for our guests from 8am onwards or for those who wish to depart earlier we can supply a packed lunch or continental breakfast to the room the night before.

Sefton House Bed and Breakfast
Sefton House, Ulverston. Sefton House is a Georgian town house in the centre of the busy market town of Ulverston.
For the energetic, Ulverston is at the start of the 'Cumbria Way', which goes to Carlisle on the Cumbria Coastal Way and the Cumbria Cycle Route. It is also the birthplace of Stan Laural (of Laural & Hardy fame) and houses a museum devoted to them.
Most rooms have ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms, and all rooms have tea and coffee making and facilities and a colour T.V.
Dinner is not available at Sefton House, but there are numerous restaurants and pubs serving food within 5 minutes walk.Packed lunches are available, and vegetarian breakfasts are available.

Far Applethwaite is a most unusual and attractive split level cottage.

Summer Hill Holidays
Summer Hill is a late eighteenth century Country House set in the slopes of the Crake Valley, just over 3 miles south of Coniston Water. The Georgian House stands in 5 acres of mature gardens, with an expansive fountained lawn. We have four pine lodges set in the splendid grounds with views onto the fields and nearby wood. The Butler's Cottage overlooks the fountained lawn, and has views across Greenodd Sands to the hills of the Cartmel Peninsular and beyond to Morecambe Bay. The "Old Kitchen" is a flat created from the former kitchens and sculleries which served the House.
Summer Hill Holidays is well positioned in South Lakeland, just minutes from the A590 and half an hour from the M6.
Summer Hill provides an excellent retreat for a relaxing holiday, and a convenient base to discover lesser known, but equally fascinating parts of the Lake District.
